The project concerning energy sharing and energy communities in Wallonia aims at establishing a facilitating framework for citizens. The framework is designed:to provide effective and comprehensive assistance to project leaders in the creation of energy community and sharing activities, andto deliver accessible and multifunctional learning tools.In this project Th!nk E is engaged in providing assistance to several stakeholders through a Helpdesk. For the facilitating framework, Th!nk E is responsible for the communication aspects. The key is to provide clear information to a wide range of stakeholders. The project aims to be clear and inclusive.

Energiedelen Vlaanderen for KCVS (Kenniscentrum Vlaamse Steden)

Energiedelen Vlaanderen delineates the challenges for cities and municipalities when it comes to implementing energy sharing within apartment buildings. This study, done for KCVS (Kenniscentrum Vlaamse Steden), explores the different possibilities of sharing energy between residents.

BIDC

BIDC

The BIDC project seeks to contribute to the future of bipolar DC grids. It does this by helping set up a nanogrid in Energyville (Genk, Belgium) where different elements such as a battery and DC/DC charger can be tested.Tests on DC grid stability and potential hazards (such as arching) are also being conducted. In addition, BIDC project contributes to the modification and updating of  the grid code ensuring it is ready for future use of DC grids
