Introduction

The Citizen Energy Advisory Hub (CEAH) accelerates the creation of citizen-driven energy communities across Europe by providing hands-on support, practical tools, and policy insights. It empowerslocal actors to co-create fair, affordable, and sustainable energy solutions that strengthen social cohesion and community resilience.

Approach

The project maps citizen energy initiatives and the legal and regulatory frameworks supporting them, identifies and showcases best practices, and provides tailored technical assistance to stakeholders implementing citizen energy projects. It also develops guidance documents to support engagement across a wide range of actors involved in the energy transition.

Our role

Th!nk E contributes to the mapping and data collection of citizen energy initiatives across Europe, the identification and investigation of best practices, and the delivery of technical assistance. This includes stakeholder engagement through interviews and focus groups, development of guidance materials, and applying both technical and legal expertise to support the broader community energy ecosystem.
