RENOMIZE

Introduction

RENOMIZE develops innovations to make deep renovation with prefabricated panels faster, cheaper, and more socially acceptable. The project covers the entire renovation trajectory, from early design to manufacturing, installation, and performance assessment.

Approach

It introduces new tools for design decision-making, automation of panel installation, improved anchoring systems, and optimisation of spatio-temporal planning. Stakeholders are engaged from the outset to ensure high societal readiness and smooth market uptake, with four demonstration sites in Belgium, France, Estonia, and Switzerland validating the approach.

Our role

Th!nk E leads stakeholder engagement (WP6) and communication, dissemination, and capacity building (WP8), co-designing co-creation processes with pilot owners and coordinating project-level outreach and synergy with sister projects. It also leads user-friendly design and pre-testing of the decision support tools (WP1) and contributes to the development of the market-uptake handbook (WP7), translating technical innovations into accessible materials for a broad rangeof stakeholders.
